It starts from the cat as one pipe. It splits into two after the resonator, just before the rear axle. I agree, no need for a true dual exhaust on a 4 cyl.AJ1356 wrote:just my 2 cents, dual exhausts are gay specially on four bangers, not to mention extera pounds
first of all NOT that heavy comapred to a "non-dual" and its def lighter than stockAJ1356 wrote:just my 2 cents, dual exhausts are gay specially on four bangers, not to mention extera pounds
you obviously dont know what youre talking about. try looking at the apexi n1 dual before you make any assumptions about it. it is a dual exhaust, but both canisters are on the same side. look in the thread titled "post your s13 exhaust" and youll se what i mean.AJ1356 wrote:Actually dual exhaust does mean a muffler on each side, a dual tipped exhaust means 2 tips one muffler, same as the stock 240s.
dual exhausts just screems ricer on a four banger be it true dual or axle back. a 3 inch exhaust is more then enough for our cars. no need to make it all rice and even a little bit heavier just so one could pretend he / she has a v8 and run 2 mufflers our of the back.
