I was watching TV the other day when i was inspired. Has anyone ever tried to build custom Exhaust piping and then sending it away to get it Chromed in a chrome bath? Does anyone have any idea if this would work. The way i see it the Chromed surface would allow the exhause air to move easier (duh?!). I'm sure there are some catback systems that are sold like this, but i was wondering if anyone has tried doing this themselves? I'm not even sure how much somehtinlg like this would cost.

IMHO, i think the chrome would over time just flake away:(
