exhaust hitting diff

i recentl installed a apexi n1 exhaust on my s13. i sits about a 1/4 inch away from my diff and seems to bang against it alot. i never heard of this problem with the n1 before, only the gt spec. are there any solutions to this or do i have to deal with it? would the banging lead to problems? is it possible to reweld the hangers so it sits farther away from the diff?

just heat up the hangers and bend them in a way that it wont hit had this problem on a friends car with the hks hi flow
