Exhaust helpppppp

My friend said that I do not have a stock exhaust on my car but I really have no idea. I have heard other G35 coupes and I can kind of tell a difference but not too much. How do I check?

Also what would sound better? Borla Catback or Magnaflow? I'm leaning towards Borla

How can you tell? Look under your car...

As far as which one sounds better, that's going to be a personal preference. Search around on here and youtube. You should find numerous sound clips of each.

If it says nissan on it then its stock. between the 2, i'd say borla sounds better.

HKS is the best...but it's also expensive. I have the Stillen TD which I really like. I've heard the borla, and wasn't impressed with the sound.

you can take some pics and we can help identify the exhaust as well. HKS is very good, Stillen is also, and Fast Intentions is great.

The new Motordyne has been tested independantly. Looks like they have had better gains than any other exhaust system so far.

Sound is all a preference. I love the HKS, STILLEN, Fast Intentions... haha

Glad you like it. I spent literaly 20 plus hours searching exh. that sounded good, and really produced power.

If you plan on ordering the FI system be sure to talk to Tony. Super cool guy and very helpful. Mine should be shipping the fist of next week. I can't wait to get it. BTW I will be doing an install article for it.

As for your old exh. A lot of the Sedan guys like the mid pipe. But that is about the only part of it you will be able to sell.

if what you have on your car right now is stock you can probably sell the whole thing. You can find people going back to stock all the time.

If u have the money go for the hks. kinds loud but sounds nice imo.
