Exhaust Help!

Hello everyone,

First time post, and I could not find a thread that had answered my specific question.

So I bought Specialty Z's 2.5" Catback - Please see link. http://specialtyz.com/shop/default/sz-3 ... s-151.html

My problem is finding an a site that will sell the 'HKS Hi-Power Exhaust" Muffler that will fit the 2.5".

http://www.zshop.ca/parts/?make=300zx-z32&type=exhaust is the only place that I've found that sells just the mufflers; here is the issue for me. They come in 60 mm inlet, or 75 mm inlet only... 75mm inlet = 3 inches. 60 mm inlet = 2.36 inches.

Will the 60 mm inlet work with 2.5" catback?
Are there installation issues or advice to give me?
Do you know of a place where I can buy 2.5" HKS Hi power exhaust (mufflers only).

This is really holding me back from making changes to my 300zx TT 2+0, stock turbo/engine.

Well your problem is that the hks dont have flanges and your cat back does. Theres a couple things you can do you can , or have an exhauste place, make you flanges matching the cat back and weld it to the muffler and mate them with a gasket. You can cut the flange off the cat back stretch the catback ends to fit the 75mm hks. Try to find the mufflers that attach to your cat back and use them or cut the flanges off those mufflers and but the on the hks muff. Or ofcourse u can return them and get a full set mani's to mufflers lol

That's the thing, I can't return them. But I've read that people have put the HKS on somehow... Any other ideas?
