Hello, I am new to this forum and to the 300zx. I am trying to do some quick bolt on mods to the Z I bought this past weekend. I have been doing some looking and found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-96-Nissan-30 ... 65&vxp=mtr Which is exactly what I am looking for as far as design is concerned. My question is will this work with my 2+2 with little to no modification? I have looked at the service manual and the bends in the service manual are different between both models, however this one pictured looks more like the NA 2+2 than the 2+0 or TT. I am also looking to get headers as well. Any recommendations on headers as far as what not to get and what is good quality. Thanks in advance.

You will need to modify that exhaust to fit your 2+2 because like you said, the bends are different. The exhaust in that link is for a couple (2+0) so it won't have the correct bends. You can still get it, you will just have to take it to a muffler shop or something so they can alter it. I have that same exhaust on my Z and it works good, fitment is pretty good too (I have a coupe though)

As for headers, I bought the cheap ebay ones and they work great with good fitment. Here'es the link:

awesome, so basically you have what I want but on a 2+0 not 2+2? Do you have any videos or sound clips of your exhaust setup? Here is the sound I am trying to achieve

Went ahead and purchase the 2+0 catback and the NA headers. Will see how it bolts up and if it doesn't. More than likely it won't, however I want to see the difference and post some pics for others. Excited about this car.
