Thanks to good old Uncle Sam Im finally going to be able to purchase my exhaust. My question is this. I want the exhaust for the horsepower, not the sound,so which one is the most quiet?

All HP exhausts will be loud. if you want the most quiet, go get the resonator cut out of your versa and put a straight pipe in there and keep your OEM muffler. if you want a good performance exhaust, the only one that puts out HP is the DC Sports exhaust and the BRM exhaust. I went with DC and love it, BRM is just a magnaflow muffler with pipe.

Here is a link to my DC exhaust video. the only way you'll get the Z sound is with the motor.

I have the DC Sports exhaust and the resonator. Good rumble, and not too loud. it was too much for me without the resonator.

Versaspeed can also get the resonator as well as the catback exhaust. I got my exhaust and resonator on a trade deal, so I'm not sure what they cost, honestly.

Probably won't make Atlanta. It's a 6.5 hour drive for a 1-day event. Nashville should be good though. I have friends in the area also I like to visit.

:lolling:

A Versa will NEVER sound like a 370z sorry bro. The BRM exhaust is best, its nice and clean in appearance and not so gaudy as the DC.

If you want horsepower but not a lot of sound then do like #1 Tango suggested and replace your stock resonator with straight piping and just buy headers. It'll open up the flow of your exhaust for hp and give it a little rumble but not too much (don't want to sound like king Fart Cannon) :gapteeth:

easy install. no welding, its all bolts up. about 45min or less, i don't remember but i had a friend help me out, just had some jack stands and did it like that. it was easy. just make sure you install the first pipe from the cats correctly, i accidently had mine upside down.

So i tried today but my old one is like rusted on... How did you get the metal hangers from the exhaust out of the slot of the rubber connecters??? I pull till my hand is almost going to fall off and i can get it. Im thinking of taking a saw zaw to it!
