heres what i want to dosplit into main fuel line and run that to small pump and from the pump to a NOS fogger inserted into the exhaust just after the muffler, where there will be a spark plug attached to a coil) = flames.without being judgemental about the plan itself...will i affect anything significant by running a line off fuel line like this. it will not be continuous flow..will be switched and only run at special events (ya know, impressing friends, chicks, etc)thanks

No trouble other than blowing the back half of the car off. ¼-cup gasoline = 1 stick dynamite.Better to stick with someone who's already figured out how to do it "safely":http://autoloc.carshopinc.com/...FLAME

NICO finally has a candidate for the Darwin Award!

I know what Porsches are meant to mean for a man's masculinity index, but flames?

If you really want flames, then get the kit.

Don't inject fuel into hot exhaust pipes unless you want to experience the other side.

looked at those kits..problem is the way they work is to interrupt ignition..raw gas runs thru cylinder..thru catalyst..out to exhaust. never thought that was a good system, plus most (all) fuel burned off in catalyst)

i really just wondered if by diverting gas flow i would piss off some sensor or computer somewhere. since would not be running it while driving, dont care if it would affect performance

Me too, but not in my car outside of the combustion chamber.

Maybe start by lighting your farts first.

Be very wary of anyone who is attracted to you by this act!

And bear in mind just what a tiny bit of gasoline that'll be. That's to belch out fifteen or twenty feet of flame.Quote »i really just wondered if by diverting gas flow i would piss off some sensor or computer somewhere. since would not be running it while driving, dont care if it would affect performance[/quote]Not that I can think of, but the problem is that you want a dozen drops or so, nothing enough as to call it "diverted". Because of the depth and breadth of dangers involved, I'm not divulging "good" plans for a DIY flametail, but I'm sure they're already out there on the internaweb.
