i've seen it before but i have no idea where to get it.

an exhaust valve that you can open and close from inside the car. this thing works like a silencer, but you dont have to get out of the car.

im looking for one. and i want to look at exhaust dump valves, theyre the same thing just put onto a Y pipe.

anyone know where to find these?

JCWhitney has them.

Don't be surprised if you lose some low end - Great for top end....

i dont care what it sounds like, just as long as it works.

lotsa people think exhaust modification in any form sounds like poo. hehe.

my daily driver sounds pretty stock and i just want the option for more top end power when i feel like it.

and the 240 is just a track car and its damned loud. i cant jump out and throw in a silencer everytime i see a cop. :P

It's an exhaust cut-out.

Search on any domestic oriented parts site; jegs, summit racing, etc...

If you want to be real trick, search for the McCord power plate. It's a cut-out controlled by a servo motor, so you can flip a switch in the car instead of having to pull a cable.
