OK, i am very unknowledgable i know and here is my disclaimer*tried searching couldnt find an answer*Since that is done here is my Q.I have a stock exhaust on my car right now. When I get my turbo the downpipe that comes with it is 3 inch. I am assuming that will not fit on my stock cat. I also think that if i just get a new cat then the downpipe will fit but the cat wont fit up to my exhaust. To make a long question short, when i get the T kit will I need to also get a 3 inch catback exhaust system with a 3 inch cat? Sorry if this is stupid Question and I hope i actually made some sense. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ok I am gonna be nice to you:

If you have the money to spend on a turbo-setup then for god's sake have the money to afford a decent 3in exhaust. Do some more research on exhaust, a lot of 240 owners use the A'PEXi N1 Dual cat-back. Myself included. As for your car, get a 3'' test pipe made by a local shop, or if you are concerned with emissions buy an aftermarket cat. Go team.

I would go with an aftermarket CAT to suppress noise... Not to avoid cops but to save your own sanity. Thats my .02

^^^^ good advice...

you can build your own exhaust for $100, from the turbo back, or get a muffler shop to make one for you for about $250-300. it will be just as good as a name brand one, and cost less than half as much.

you can put whatever tip on there you want.

also, you COULD make your stock exhaust fit to the downpipe by making a few cuts and getting some reducers and welding it all up.

just build a 3" turbo back exhaust and enjoy it.
