my personal opinion, stillen and tanabe exhaust sounds horrible. to me stillen is just as loud as stock with a not so great sound. tanabe, when it first came out almost everyone who heard the clips couldn't hear a difference between it and stock lol so thats a waste of money in my opinion. Nismo exhaust keeps it pretty quite but an amazing sound, it sounds REALLY NICE!!! i have Magnaflow custom exhaust on my 3.5se and the Artisan exhaust uses a Magnaflow muffler. Borla is another one of my favorites but the Artisan and Borla have more of the V8ish sound (doesn't sound exactly like a V8 but more then the others do). so if you want a V8ish sound, go borla or Artisan (or go with a custom magnaflow or flowmaster set-up). and if you want a different sound, go for Nismo

I installed my nismo on my a/c 3 days ago and I love the sound. It's amazing. At low rpm... you hear loud boooooooo~ sound but at higher rpm~ oh man. If I have to compare it... sounds like FX/G sound but 2x better. I have to agree with Hussain about stillen not sounding loud. I heard Surmamn stillen exhaust once on the road . yes it sounds nice but not that louder than stock. I dont know if he got cat back or axle back though. Overall I'm very very happy with nismo.

man... I'm wasting so much gas right now crusin around listening to nismo exhaust at 4500 rpm

PS... hussain... nice videos on youtube of you racing your friends srt-4

Stillen sounds horrible.......are you serious? Mine sounds really good. You need to give it a week or two to really settle in, and after the that you get a great deep tone, especially in the low rpm's, mid to high i cant really tell because of CAI. But i know the people behind me will say otherwise.

hey kango the nismo doesn't sound like a civic does it? I hate that sound, it sounds like a dying horse.

LeGeND42o I was thinking about the injen short ram but I heard adding an intake makes the engine loud when you step on the gas. Is this noise annoying in the car? I'm married and do not want to upset my wife with excessive noise.

brakthru - the sound of the intake is hot. You can hear it in the car, but it is not offensive at all.

oh and if my girlfriend were to complain about my car/intake i would tell her to take the bus or drive her own car.

lol show her who is boss.
