Okay, so i'm changing the clutch on the swap i just picked up. Fortunately, the swap came with an exedy OEM replacement. However, i would like to upgrade to the stage 1.
Upon removing the T/O bearing that came with the swap, i realized that the it was a different size than the bearing that came new with the stage 1 kit.
The old bearing is about 2 inches tall, whereas the new bearing is about 3/4" tall. I stuck with the old bearing because it had a spring clip that held the bearing against the clutch arm?
There was no way to secure the smaller bearing.
People that have changed their clutches to stage 1... what did you guys do with the bearing situation?
Also, where exactly does the pilot bushing go? when i took off the flywheel, nothing came out.. is it pressed in the crankshaft or something?
