Recently installed my avcr boost controller on my sr20det swapped s13.

when I was doing the swap, I had an smic, so I got an exedy stage 1 clutch.shorly after, I was offered a nice fmic for relatively cheap, so I took it.

so I now have the option to run .9 bar, like 13psi. its a t25 turbo.

I was wondering if that would be ok... if it would hold. or if it would lead to slippage later on. lol I am in college and cant pay to fix it if it goes out!

Im running 12-13 on the SMIC (Im getting th FMIC soon dont worry) but Ive just got a 6 puck clutch and stock everything else and its fine. My clutch grabs hard as hell.

You should be fine exspecially with a upgraded clutch and FMIC. 13 PSI is harder on the T25 but well within its limits. 15 psi is about the max for the T25 over 15 it gets hot and breaks down faster(internally).

yeah. I am not too worried about the turbo. it will be fine at 13psi.

I'm worried out my 15% better than stock exedy clutch

my stage 1 is fine at 11psi/smic, 13psi isnt much more. the clutch has been fine for months, no sensation of slipping. Exedy's in my experience have been pretty damn durable. definitely going with an exedy stage 2 once I upgrade my turbo and put out over 15psi though. i feel at about 250whp it wont last too long.

it's probably just an Exedy oem replacement maxima clutch put in an exedy racing box. if thats the case theyre supposed to be good to 300flyhp. remember, it'll last a good long while if you dont drift every day. the clutch dropping is what kills it... unless you floor your sr all day

Im running 14psi on the t25 with fmic, turbo back exhaust and some other goodies. I have about 8000KM on my exedy stage 1 and its holding up fine.
