What is the tourqe rating of the Stg 1 Excedy Organic? Would that handle a basic s15 turbo upgrade with 550's and a rom tune? The car is daily driven in rush hour/bumper to bumper traffic. We are only looking for around 300whp at most for her car. So a mild clutch upgrade should be sufficient.

Any other recommendations are open for discussion. What about the RPS Sport clutches?

Exedy OE stg 1 didn't hold up at all for my mildly modded SR. That's without the gt28r and 550's. Would slip all the time especially with a buddy in the car with me. I would look into something else, spec or rps stage 2 or something equal to it, for less pedal effort. Really though the question is why you got your wife driving a turbo charged 240 in rush hour traffic with these gas prices? Get a beater, save the car.

Check out RPS max clutches....they are available at SPLparts....I went from an Exedy OEM replacement to an RPS max stage1 and I love it....I will be sticking with these guys for awhile.

The Exedy stage II is not that stiff... although it has a slightly harsh engagement.
