Hey everyone at nico, hope things are going well. I'm new to NICO and also a new 240sx owner. And of course I have a noob question I need help with!

I recently bought a 1989 240sx, bone stock and in relatively good condition (obv a bit of a project for me). The clutch is on its way out and so ontop of replacing that, I decided to replace the flywheel while the transmission's out. I've done a bit of research and think i will go with the exedy chromoly lightweight flywheel b/c for a variety of reasons.

Here is my question: does Exedy make two versions of this flywheel for SR and KA platforms? Or is it a one-size fits all? I understand that flywheels are not typically compatible (8 bolts and 6 bolts), but all of the pictures seem to show flywheels with 8 holes for bolts (maybe just for simplicity's sake). On top of this, some vendors have listed the exedy flywheel for both SR and KA, some for just SR, and others for just KA, leading to my confusion. I was hoping they'd be one size fits all because not too many vendors seemed concerned with supplying this flywheel for my precious KA and i'd love to be able to shop around more for a place willing to ship up to Toronto Canada for cheap.

The KA flywheels are 6 bolt and the SR flywheels are 8 bolt. I found a site that list them both and they have the same part numbers then in parenthesis they each have a different number. But its strange cause their product notes on both cross reference sr and ka engine compatibility.

Thanks for the reply! Just an update, I called exedy and they said that they don't make the part for the KA engine :S. However it's listed on their website as serving both SR and KA platforms: http://www.exedyusa.com/race/Clutch_Specifications.
Has anyone used this flywheel for their KA engines? Would love to hear from any first hand users
