I was just wondering how Exedy Clutches compare to big company names like say Clutchmasters, ATC, and so on. How does the performance stack up, the price difference is HUGE.

Really? I was considering getting a an exedy clutch from summit racing for my civic, it was like $420 I believe. As for wether they're good or not, I've never used them, but signal auto uses their clutches in their project cars on a regular basis, so I wouldn' think they're crap or anything.....

dont buy it for that price, that is expensive, but then again it's for a honda civic, supply and demand sucks eh?

Do SIgnal Auto really use their clutch? I never knew that.

Yeah, your right about that supply & demand thing. But as for signal auto, yeah they use exedy clutches in almost every one of their project cars I've ever seen, including their *****in' S15 and R34. Hey, if its good enough for them.......

Signal Auto does use Exedy clutches. The clutch kit that you found for $200 is probably their organic disc clutch. Their top of the line clutches cost $1100 for a single disc and somewhere around $2300 for their two disc racing clutch (which is what signal uses). I was doing some research on these last night and it seems they are pretty popular. What I couldn't find out is if the two disc racing clutch is rebuildable. I would really hate to pay ~$2300 for a new clutch everytime it went out. Also, I don't believe that any of their clutches include lightweight flywheels. Those are another ~$500.

My buddy has an organic on his EG Hatch and its pretty nice. The clutch peddle is pretty light, compared to other aftermarket clutches out there. When I drove I thought it was super smooth. I'd recommend (better than my old Centerforce Dual Friction on my crx!). I am probably gonna go with an Exedy on my SR20DET.

ditto about their reliability in hondas, my friends had his in their for a year so far, and showing no signs that its about to go, gernerally if a clutch sucks, it wouldnt last that long, and he can chirp 4th in a stock GSR hatch(swap)i think i would go with them aong with the JUN chromoly flywheel

Depends on what car it is it, its possible, especially if you are purposefully chirping it.

I have exedy clutch currently being put in, i got the wholee kit for $112!!! OEM replacement. My transmission is out, and the guys are having trouble putting it back in :(. I have heard good things about Exedy and if you wanna get it for $120 go to http://www.clutchcityonline.com, i got mine from them through ebay, so it was a little cheaper.
