So i'm finally swapping my Beast to a 5 speed, and am in need of a clutch. I can't afford a stage 2, so i'm looking for the next best thing, and was told Exedy by several people, however have asked a few people and gotten mixed reviews. I want to know if anyone has experience and reviews on them

Thanks!

I was told that those $90-115 Exedy (aka Daikin) clutches on eBay are stock replacements in Japan.

I bought one and had it professionally installed. I'll let you know how it feels when I pick up my car tomorrow.

I'm sure they're just stock replacements, which means you will still have weak pedal feel, but the engagement should be smooth and at the end of the pedal.

That said, have fun with it! :)

I just got my car back from the shop today. It didn't feel as stiff as I thought it would be. I guess I just got used to my friends 4 puck clutch. I did die out like 5 times, though :). Gotta get used to the feeling without burning the clutch out.

hahaha. exedy makes a nice clutch man, just break it in properly...

I've got a 6-puck in mine, and I have to constantly tell myself "dont roast his clutch" when Im test driving customer cars and my friends cars.-chet

Hi,

I would highly recommend Exedy, we are sponsored by them for my RB26DETT 98 240SX. We have their twin-plate race clutch, and I absolutely love it
