I broke off a bolt in the flywheel. the fsm listed a torque of 16-22lbs. i set my wrench to 20lbs. and one of the bolts snapped. so i took off the flywheel to remove the threaded part of the screw. my questions:

is the torque spec correct? should i set it to 18lbs?

the replacement bolts i got are M8 - 1.25x16mm, it looks similar, but it has a WT 10.9 stamped on the head. Is that the grade? And is it good enough for the pressure plate?

What is the order of tightening down the pressure plate? the fsm didn't really mention it, unless i missed it.

Step one, torque each bolt between 7 and 14 ftlbs. Step two, torque each bolt between 26-32.

Now there are 9 bolts. 3 in 3 sets. Tighten the middle 3 first to step one, then do the others to step one. Then repeat on the middles with step 2 and all others on two last.

Dont want to take the forum or anything, but how do you torque down the flywheel?

like 30 lb ft then 70 lb ft then 110 lb ft? in a one, then across, then one over pattern?
