The pic above is a driveshaft that was twisted into a curlie-cue.

Frisco's photo equipment is top-secret (I think). He'd have to tell you.

All I know is it cost more than my house, and in the hi-res pics you can count the pores on the models.

Thanks for the compliments guys - glad you are enjoying the shots! I don't mind saying what my equipment is, or how I use it, as I feel the eye of the photographer is what produces great shots, not necessarily the equipment.

Equipment is as follows:

Body:Canon EOS20D+Grip+420EX+lots of CF cards

Lenses:70-200L IS10-22 EF-S15 2.8 fish18-55 EF-S50 1.4

Awesome pictures, looks like a great time.

My dad has an EOS something or other Canon body with some various lenses, I'm honestly not sure what all he has. Sweet camera is all I know.

Good thing you didn't post any hi-res pics then, those models looked disgusting.

Plans for next year are in the works, we'll announce it in due time.

The twisted driveshaft was from the Intense Power supra.

They had the car moving again in about an hour or so. They had to go back to the shop to grab another one.

SHIFT_Z: There were actually two Z31s at the show. Both of them convertibles.

The other is the white one next to the Sunset 350Z:

The "Ferrari" is actually a 1978 280Z. The kit is by Z-Trix. It's called a Vela Rossa. And it is a beautiful car.

More pictures of it and the 84 Z31 vert are available at http://www.ztrix.com

Greg,I think our NICO PRO photographer needs to come to HOT ATLANTA NATIONAL NICO EVENT!! Great pictures I wish I had half the talent. We need to have our own magazine and have him take the pictures. We can cover all the NICO/NOPI events from a Nissan perspective!

There was also a yellow TT, fast as hell, but he spent most of his time on the track.

Incidentally, for those that didn't go because "[whine] there won't be any track time for me [/whining]", the track was WIDE OPEN most of Saturday, and there were only 6-8 cars - I saw an SE-R get AT LEAST 10 passes down the 1/4.

ATL is still in the works, guys - Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Wow....so only 3 Z32's and 2 Z31's? That's pretty damn weak. So much for the Z community showing up huh? lol

Thanks in part to the limp wrists in the Desert Z Association. I think there were 3 of them there. But with "100+ members", you'd think there would be more than 3 people showing up to a national event in their own home town.

Anyway, this was the first year a show of this type has come to Phoenix. So it's understandable that it wasn't as highly participated. I just hope they weren't discouraged and decide to try again next year.

Paul's right.

I was VERY disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm from the local Z chapter.

I've found them to be a lot like Vette owners. Someone needs to remind them that their cars are "just" Nissans, and they're no better than the rest of us.

I asked the current chapter President to publicize our event and they ignored me.

It's poetic justice that one of the few guys who DID decide to come out for the event took home a "Best Nissan" trophy and $300.

Greg and a several others came into ATL last year for NOPI, for those who don't remember. I was unable to attend that time, but if it's going down again, I'm THERE.

Beauty everywhere. Good stuff guys!
