On my auto transmission it really Clunks into gear while its shifting from first to second. the FSM says Incorrect throttle sensor adjustment or line pressure, leaking 1-2 accumulator, damages control valve or brake band or faulty fluid temperature sensor. It doesnt do it on any other gears, which would be the most probable cause? (transmission has 126k miles on it)

if thats your original transmission, then its probably going out. my friends s13 transmission went out at 100k but he drives the s##t out of it too.

If it only happens from 1-2 then the transmission needs to be rebuilt.

You can try changing the fluid and adding some trans-x or something like it. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't. A lot of it depends on the fluid condition. If the fluid is burned, changing the fluid will usually smooth out the transmission.

If you just want to live with it then drain a little fluid, add a bottle of trans-x or something similar. Run it for about a thousand miles. Drain the fluid and refill with atf. Should clean it up alright.
