Hey there Mr Nissan Mechanic...

I own an automatic Nissan Pulsar 84' GL N12 Series

My problems is thus:Engine is moving and learching forward/backward more then should be when changing from stationary gears to reverse and drive causing it to destroy my Exhaust manifold and its gaskets. I have just replaced the rear engine mount and 1 engine stabilizer, the other left and right side engine mounts and stabilizer bars are in good nick. However this made only a slight difference. The transmission is fine as far as i know. What else could be causing this, is this is a regular occurrance in old pulsars? Any ideas you can forward of what i can check would be great.

Cheers,

Weedy
