I am posting this in the general dicussion now since I couldn't get any help in the technical forum...help please

Hey guys, I am having a problem with excess crank case pressure. I ordered a new PCV valve and while I was waiting for it to come in I decided to remove this hose (see pic below) to check and make sure it wasn't clogged and it broke becuse it was brittle. Now I want to replace it with an oem peice, but I can't find a part number for it.

Any help would be great, or if anyone has a spare I will take it

You don't need an OEM specific hose, all you need is a hose with the same inner diameter rated to carry oil. I'm not sure if Advance Auto or Autozone would have it, but any hydraulic supply shop will be able to cut you a piece to your desired length for less than 5 dollars.

That exact OEM part will cost your more than $20, and I doubt anyone this side of the water stocks that part. It's not engine specific so you're better off just replacing it with a normal hose rated to carry oil.

PCV valve + a couple inches of hose and ur good. Although I wonder if the motor is done and is having massive blowby. See what you get first tho after replacement... and running in the car

So then do I just take out the valve or whatever it's called that is inside the hose and push it into a new hose?

Do you think the valve thing will stay in place inside the hose?
