I think it's probably a bit "harsh" for most people's tastes... not that it's not based in accuracy, but people are reluctant (even critics such as myself) to accept that we have a POTUS that's rendered ineffectual, perhaps even detrimental, by his arrogance.
I don't think the "chickens will come home to roost", unfortunately. Obama remains a media darling, if ONLY to give his legions of "fans" the ability to sleep well at night and allow them to rest soundly, without the knowledge that "all that glitters is not gold". The doomsday scenario he outlines is unlikely - the people he left hanging are simply unlikely to turn on him like rabid dogs, because that would then be an admission that they were wrong, and worse yet, that "the bad guys" (the GOP) might be right in certain instances.
There were a lot of egregious missteps left out - His unwillingness to speak harshly about the NBBP, the NAACP, the leaders of NK, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, his inability to distance himself publicly from Rev. Wright and ACORN, his failed promise to hold Turkey accountable for past crimes against humanity, and his "whichever way the wind blows" policy on the war in the Middle East.
This i will say: I do NOT believe he wishes harm to the US. I'm positive he doesn't wake up each morning and think, "What can I do to weaken the Constitution, putus deeper in debt, and steal from the rich to give to the poor". I believe he is doing the best he can with the knowledge, insight, awareness (and advisors) he has. Unfortunately, I don't think he's equipped to see the larger picture, and I think his zeal to "be all things to all people" (and by all people, I mean people who supported the DNC).
As critical of him as I am, I would love to see him find some humility, and maybe some revelation that Presidents sometimes have to step up and speak out and piss off the very people who got them where they are, for the good of the country as a whole. I'm not optimistic that this will happen.
