I'm hunting around for an exhaust, around $400 if at all possible. I'd like a 2.5in tubing with small dual tip style, no-rice sound too. The VRS unit is the pretty much exactly what I want, $420 + shipping for stainless, but I'd like to knock that down a bit. I see the BRM, but that tip is too big for me... There are several other companies, so I wanted to see if you guys know of any deals/steals? Thanks!

why not go custom? Buy the muffler you like and have an exhaust shop weld up some mandrel bent piping of the size you choose. Resonators can be added until you find the sound you like.

I really liked the sound that my Spec V had. I used an OBX muffler and ran 3" pipe from the cat back w/o the rear resinator.

It only set me back about $250 all together.

NTN - Have you made your purchase yet?

While the BRM system isn't the cheapest, is certainly among the top few systems for the Spec in terms of quality and power. Sport Compact did an article on our system last year, and Dave Coleman (editor and racer) runs our catback on his Spec-V.

What's an extra few bucks when you're buying the best?

Email me and we'll see what we can do for you.

hitman I'm also looking for an exhaust for my new spec. gonna want a catback system and more than likely a resonator. do you have any sound files of what your exhausts sound like? Right now I'm leaning towards a Nismo system because they just plain rock at custom stuff for Nissans.

I don't currently have any sound files, but you may want to hit up Torry (EZcheese) as he has a BRM system on his Spec.

I can't disparage the NISMO setup, but I know it doesn't touch what we build for the Spec and SE-R. That is our bread and butter, and the difference in quality is apparent.

all the exhausts you have listed on that site list 03-04. They should fit an 02 as well, correct? If that's the case how much for a Nissan Sentra SPEC-V Stainless Steel 2.5" exhaust with4" Round Tip with a resonator shipped to 21012? Hopefully I can get some sort of super cool Nico discount. Oh I also ordered one of those 4 dollar stickers for the Spec, gotta spread the word as I pass Civics :)

Yep - The year thing is messed up, we're getting some work done on the site right now (actually I'm surprised it's up, with the construction going on).

Your price (with the "super cool NICO discount") will be:

$415 for stainless catback, $75 for the stainless resonator, and shipping to your door is $45.

Lifetime warranty against defects and corrosion, warrantied to fit on the stock hangars and warrantied against sounding like a riced-out Honda. :)

Oh yeah - And guaranteed that all proceeds go to support the continued existence of NICO!!! :)

I just noticed this has been brought up again.

No, I have not ordered the exhaust I was going to yet. I was part of a group buy that I'm going to have to get off of (which sucks) cause there's some question as to whether or not I'll have a job this summer. I should know in about a month. Anyway, the problem, Hitman, is moreso that I don't drive a Spec, nor do I have the 2.5.

I've got SR20DE power in my '01 SE. Meaning, I assume, that the exhausts are different.

Checking the BRM site, I see that that problem is solved, as you now offer 91-03 Sentra exhausts. What size is the piping on these? Any pics? Thanks Hitman!

edit: Good God, I spelled exhaust wrong on the thread title...

Hitman, you're the man. Lemme see if you can figure this out for me:

2.5in piping, dual 2.5in tips, no fart, all stainless, shipped to GA

Can it be done, and for how much?

Note: I've been searching for said setup for several months.

Dude, no problem:

T304 Full-stainless tuned catback - $42014" resonator (recommended if you have a header) - $70Add for dual-tip muffler - $30Shipping - $45

Total to your door: $565. Uses all factory hangars, hand-fabricated, TIG and MIG welding throughout, clean as you'll find, sounds better than 90% of the stuff on the market.

Search over. :)

Sounds pretty sweet Hitman, probably gonna have to wait til June, as I only work in the summer, which as of now sucks. For quality product from a fellow NICOnaut, I'm willing to wait.

I'm not sure what car you're asking about - This is an entire catback we're discussing... More details please? :)

Oh yeah - fixed the name.
