Exaust noob questions

okay i just wanted to know a couple quick questions what size is the stock exaust piping? and what would be the length for a muffler or a glass pack i should get that would fit the size?

i feel like the stock piping is 2"... but I don't remember at this point. My setup is nowhere near stock.

From experience, I can tell you that making your own setup work is what ends up being best. AKA, get the muffler you want and build the piping to fit it.

The stock exhaust piping is 2'' for the 2.4l, maybe the same for the 2.2l. I do not know what it is for 1.8l. I would go with a cherry bomb glasspack, not to expensive and produce a good sound. I have used quite a few setups for my exhaust so far. I used a cheap Turbo muffler, a glasspack, and now a magnaflow. To help you save some hassels try to save the stock pieces so you can replicate the bends if needed later.

yea i think im gonna get a magnaflow glasspack they are alittle more than the cherry bombs but sound a little better to

ok just deciced to get a cherry bomb so i can buy some new tires and other goodies. went to my buddys shop and got it all welded up just havent mounted back up again.i broke the damn bolts takin it off -_- so gonna finish it on friday hopefully, sounds like a damn tractor right now

Magnaflow is a great company. I won't run anything besides magnaflow (except for something more ridiculous like a coastfab muffler for racing) on anything else i ever get. Currently running the Magnaflow XL turbo muffler. Not sure if you've seen my recent start up vid.... but....

Very nice!!!! well too late now but im more worried about tires and wheels for now gotta do some off roadin soon i got some bald tires :(
