The tip stick out about 1" further than stock, nothing crazy. My setup is K&N drop-in + Berk HFC + Megan mufflerSDMF wrote:Very nice exhaust!! It looks like the tips stick out a little bit compared to stock??
Can you tell us a little bit about your set up? Stillen intake + Berk HFC + Megan exhaust to achieve the great sound??
Thanks!!
I was talking about the removeable baffles in the tips of the mufflers.EibachMBZ wrote:There is no way I can see the internal of the muffler...The tips are bent 90 degree

I know, but it's lot different than P.R.O.C.txgcoupe wrote:

do you have a pic of the Berk HFC? or rather the whole set up for us? I'm just curious what it looks like.EibachMBZ wrote:The baffles/silencers are PITA to remove. There is no brain to it, just pull as hard as you can but you need to use some sort of hook to pull from the inner end.I figured there might be some trick to it so I called Megan about it, they said just pull...
I finally got one side off after hurting myself couple times and finally gave up on it. Took to a local muffler shop and took them 3 minutes to pull it off with proper tool but 1 bent silencer.
Compare with silencers on and off, they don't really deadening the sound at all.
ahahha that comment made my day.EibachMBZ wrote:I totally forgot to take pictures of the HFC when I got them...To take pic of the whole setup I need to jack my car high enough, probably do that when I am doing the next oil change.
Install this exhaust does not require to jack the car up, I am able to get under it... atleast half of my body... I am too fat... lol
Yeah, here is it.txgcoupe wrote:Is there a clip of just the HFC's before you put the Megan on?
Mine won't sound the same since I don't have HFC's.
John
definitely!txgcoupe wrote:I lease too.
I save everything I take off. I swap it back.
Easy. Don't let it hold you back.

Looking forward to hearing just the Megan on the EX35... Will sound a lot more subdued I am sure. Evidently, the blue tips can be polished out to a nice chrome finish.EXceptional wrote:I'll pass.
Each his own, I guess.
Sounds like a really bad Ricer now.
The burnt Blue Tips don't do anything for me, either.
I'll give it about a Year, before the Rust starts coming through.
I should say 370Z with HFC + exhaustI hear them before and its very much alike.mcheddadi wrote:that doesn't really sound like the 370z with exhaust...
the tips look good!
