Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi there,
I have a 2010 EX35. The USB reader was working fine till last week. Now the car doesn't recognize the USB drive, and the light on the USB drive doesn't turn on. The drive works in a computer.
I searched through EX35 service manual and didn't find a related section for USB drive.

I would say quite a bit more than the value of this post - unless you meant the original post, which I would then agree.
Do you not understand that you asked for a suggestion, and my suggestion was to have the dealer address it for you for free??

I agree with XIS and would let Infiniti take care of the issue as long as you're still under warranty.
If you're not under warranty and want to explore the issue on your own, the section of the service manual that covers the USB port is the 'AV' section. If you can get into the on-board diagnostic mode of the AV control unit, it'll probably tell you pretty much what's wrong with the USB port.

I just had my friend chip tune my car along with upgrading all firmware/software in the cars computers to current spec, now my USB works with ANY device where as before it wouldn't recognize my ipad, USB thumb drive and other goodies.
