EX35 Tail light tints

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

hey guys i have left this forum a long time ago but i decided i should come back. i want to apply tail light tints to my EX35. i havent measured the tail lights on my EX yet but they are selling 24x24 sheets of tail light tints on ebay. have any of you guys measured or know if this will be enoguh for both tailights (remember that it is made up of 4 separate lights)

there is also precut ones any one know if these are better? they are double the price.

some of them says that heat application method is required. is this true for all tints?

if any one have applied tints to their car please assist me with instructions.

Personally I would buy a roll of film for trial and error, if you are good with an exacto knife you shouldn't need the precut ones. If it is your first time you definitely would want to buy and try to cut it yourself, once you mess up the precut which is very easy to do, you'll have to buy a new set. There are some youtube videos that help give some ideas, my first time wasn't too bad on my other car, I was always able to cut out the Reverse (white part) of the tail light (in the ended I just ended up using VHL Nightshade, called something like that). Personally I think film is only good if you worried about getting a ticket and then removing it for future purposes, if you okay with it, I would use those smoke out sprays, it comes out more crisp and glossy.

personally i dont like spray ons they look cheap. i have many friends that did it with unsatisfying results. i know you can get a better look with spray and they last longer ONLY if you apply them properly with all the sanding and clear coats. thats seems like alot of work where alot can go wrong because it is my first time.

Good evening!

I used the film.

I used the heat gun and put it while lengthening a film.

I used the film which was not cut.

I bought it here. http://www.rvinyl.com/

I was slightly bigger and cut a film and put it while thinning it with heat gun.

The headlight executed the work, too.

Hello lybrian1,

No. It is not the painting. It is not a big sun roof too.

I put a black film on the roof. http://www.mmm.co.jp/cmd/request/dinoc/index.html

eazy remove the film.

It is popular customization in Japan.

The work depended on a specialized supplier.http://www.artfactory-inc.com/

I put it in a specialty store. http://www.artfactory-inc.com/

It is the famousness shop which executed the work of a car used during a drama at wild speed. I am removable. The reuse is impossible.

I prefer to keep my Tail-lights au natural.

I like to keep mine as bright as possible to give all the Text-messaging, Cell-phoning, Burger-eating, Kid-slapping, GPS-searching, Book-reading, Lip-sticking, Nose-picking, Eye-lining, Coffee-drinking, non paying-attention Boobs out there, a fighting chance to NOT smash into the back-end of my Car.
