Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Belt System has an auto tensioner so no manual adjustment is required.
If the belt is loose then it either is installed incorrectly or you have the wrong size belt.
In my 2011 owners manual on page 8-15 it shows how the belt loops round each pully.
I'd post a pic but its such a pain to do so on this site.
Check your owners manaul or download it.

Check here on page 12 of the Maintenance section of the factory service manual for the belt routing:

It looks like you've got all the pulleys back into place. The tensioner has to rotate quite a bit for the new belt to be installed. Using a serpentine belt tool, or a 3/8" breaker bar (or ratchet with a pipe on the handle), put the square end into the square hole in the tensioner. Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise and pin it in place with a bolt or allen wrench.
