Ex35 Low Beam headlight dust cap/cover

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Ok guys, I have been looking for an OEM low beam head light dust cap/cover and I could not find a single one online.

I guess I will just let my dealership rape me for this part. Even the Infinity headlight diagram, dont show this item. It is weird... :gotme

There was a thread about this a while back; see here: post6294920.html#p6294920

I was also able to find a source for one. I kind of wanted to keep the link to myself in case I ever needed one (since these things seem to be made by an elf from the hoof of a unicorn). But I'll be nice and share with others ;) .

The page says its for a Lexus GS, but I'm pretty sure that the cap is for our EX's, and not the Lexus GS. If you need it that bad, go buy it before someone else jumps on it.

NJGuy, thanks! I really appreciate that link you posted. I am still undecided if I will replace my DDM HID kit. I heard that the Morimoto HID kit is a lot better, but I still have another brand new HID kit from DDM that I bought 2 years ago for backup. Currently, I am using a SLIM DDM kit 35W 5000k LOW BEAM and Slim DDM Kit 35W 3000K fog. I installed them both 3+ years ago with 0 isssue. Both are connected to my OEM light harness. These kits were the old batch, that seem to be more durable..... :dblthumb:

By the way, it is possible that other headlight rear dust cap/covers may fit the EX, with the diameter and locking tab pattern being the most important factors. I believe that a lot of the Nissan/Infiniti headlamps are made by Stanley. But finding an alternate part that fits will probably be a crapshoot and require lots of luck unless you work in their headlight product division.
