EX35 License plate covers?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Where is a good place to buy License plate covers? I am in the GTA. Either online or a store?

check this one out...

I like the carbon fiber license plate holder I have had my eye on it just a lot of money for a plate holder!

or this site:

TIP: sign up before you buy and you should get a coupon from each. they usually give good deals on shipping or 10-20% off.

I like the clear cover from weather tech, i noticed they also have great mats, kind of wish I bought those as opposed to EX35 ones from Infiniti. Anyone have a picture of how the clear cover looks like on their car?

I have a Weathertech clear cover installed on the rear plate of my EX35. The front needs an open type though. If you use clear cover at the front, this tends to get damage a lot

from cars backing up on you when you park. I`ll post a picture when I get a chance.

As promised, taken by a cell cam. Sorry, never had a chance to clean it first before taking a photo. :-)

Hello AWGD8,

Is there a way to put on the weather-tech clear cover on the front plate? I am not sure how yours is made but my front plate seems like its a slim version. The front plate does not fully mount on the bracket. only the top 2 screws which makes the clear cover useless. :S

Thank you!

Install it using the 2 top screws as you normally do. Use a bolt and nut for the bottom hole to hold both plate and the cover only. This will prevent the bottom from rattling..
Make sure you put some electrical tape on the end of the bolt and nut to prevent that end to rub against the front bumper. Same thing on the back plate.
