ex35 i installed a hid kit from ddm tuning 35w 5000k

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Yeah it seems like you are going to need a relay for the fog lights, you can always get a headlight relay too just in case because there is always a chance for the headlight to act the same way. It is always recommended you do disconnect the battery, each car varies and all the gadgets that connect to it. For your power windows it could be a fuse, you may need to look into the manual for it or sometimes if the battery gets disconnected like in my Mercedes, you would need to "resync" it usually done by the window button "up" for about 12 seconds and about 12 seconds down (Something like that). Everytime I used to disconnect my battery on my 6th gen Maxima, I always had to resync the mirrors + sunroof as well, in your case after replacing that fuse.

I have had the exact same problem from when I received the car. Mine is also 2010 EX Journey Package. This is what I did, and it has fixed my problem. It is exactly from the manual on page 2-51:

If the windows do not close
automatically
If the power window automatic function (closing
only) does not operate properly, perform the
following procedure to initialize the power window
system.
1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Close the door.
3. Open the window completely by operating
the power window switch.
4. Pull the power window switch and hold it
to close the window, and then hold the
switch more than 3 seconds after the
window is closed completely.
5. Release the power window switch. Operate
the window by the automatic function
to confirm the initialization is complete.
6. Perform steps 2 through 5 above for other
windows.
If the power window automatic function does
not operate properly after performing the procedure
above, have your vehicle checked by an
INFINITI retailer.

P.S. How long did it take for the DDM Tuning HID's to come. I ordered mine on the 9th and it has yet to be shipped. Thank you!

To the OP:

You need to install a relay harness for your lowbeam- Relay harness that connects directly to the car`s battery. The fog lights can be hooked up directly to the OEM harness. That is how my set up is.

Or vice-versa. (Relay harness to the FOGS and straight connection to low beam).

My only concern with DDM relay harness is the relay switch they use is not very good. Some terminals on the relay switch gets corroded during winter season, so sometimes one side of the low beam

won`t fire. The only way to fix this is to replace the crappy relay switch and install a better relay switch like TYCO brand. ($10-15) then sealed it with electrical tape. It works for me!

You only need 1 DDM relay harness for both side of the fog lights.

Before you buy a harness, make sure DDM did not switch polarity on any connector on the HID KIT. This thing happens.... make sure all positive wires matches another positive connector. The best

way to check this is with a positive and ground light tester. If that would be the case, then you don`t need a relay harness....
