EX35 Dying intermittently

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I am having this problem where the car will die intermittently, usually while driving slowly through a parking lot, on the interstate but when crawling along. All the dash lights will come on as in acc mode. It will restart fine but it can be a dangerous problem as the power steering stops working and the car is VERY hard to steer... Anyone have this happen?

Yes, I had this problem. Most recent fix included changing a wire harness and installing a new computer....so far no stalling issues. I worked directly with the factory rep who was fantastic. Santa Monica Infiniti got tired of me because they couldn't replicate the problem. I even had a monitor installed. The interesting thing was that when I did have these stalls they wouldn't record that an event took place. The factory rep drove my car for a week; didn't have any stalls, but noticed something wasn't right. He ordered the above repairs and everything seems to be OK. Three weeks and no stalls.
