Has anyone purchased factory xenon light housings/bulbs and installed them on a non xenon EX? Does it work or will there need to be any module reprogramming? Any info would be helpful, I searched but could only find that the plug is the same, thanks
Looking to avoid an aftermarket kit at this point...

Save yourself the time, money, and heartache. pick up a 55w 4500/5000k kit and be done. There will be way to much worry in putting OEM in.

That's what I did with 5K color and it works flawless.
The stock hallogen projectors are not too bad with just a PnP kit. You just have to deal with the usual squirrel finders.

I see so much aftermarket stuff out there, other than getting recommendations from other owners, its tough to tell the crap products from quality ones.
