ex and truck story

About a month ago my ex saw me with another girl at a bike show and decided that night she would key my truck. Woke up to go to breakfast with that girl she caught me with and saw the damage. I was pissed!!! Beyond belief. I filed a police report and insurance claim and got the truck in the shop. I would have went after my ex for the damage but I have no physical proof it was her. I found out cause I was calling everyone in my phone to find out some info on it and I called one of her friends and she told me it was her. And she did it because she took a vacation in mexico for 2 weeks and now she moved to california. Damn girls!!! Anyways its been in the shop for about 4 weeks now (insurance held it up) and I should get it back today. Its getting a custom paint job so Im excited to get it back.

Anyways that’s my story and I just thought Id share my excitement with you guys.

Ya know.. I'm thinking about getting a Tacoma. Wether the Versa was being good to me or not with whatever gas mileage, I've had to borrow a truck at least 5 times in the 10 months or less I've owned the Versa . I would trade some gas mileage to be able to haul s*** and handle some of these crappy unpaved roads around here. I hear they're pretty nice trucks.

I cant speak for anyone else but I love the truck. I used to work for toyota and everytime they told me I had to drive a tacoma somewhere Id have a big smile on my face. And the gas isnt so bad, if your light on it you can get about 25 on the highway. They are good trucks, the ride is very smooth and they are pretty quick. My tacoma isnt the regular though. I have the X-Runner.

My brother has 2 of them he likes them so much

He got an 05 6-spd TRD offroad with everything in the speed way blue, and an 05 6-spd Xrunner.

I won't lie about how I feel for the new Tacoma: the X-runner is the only one I'd own despite the lack of towing abilities, my brother has only done minor mods to the engine but the thing howls for NA..

I know, I want a supercharger too!!! lol

I want him to go turbo... but he insists on the SC (hes a TRD fan)

Same for my brother... he was working wholesale parts manager for Toyota and he test drove the blue offroad about a month into working for toyota.. came home with it the day he test drove it.

Then like 6 months later they had a black XR with a billet grill that people were test driving but no one was interested in buying.. sure enough he showed up to pick me up from work in yet another new Tacoma.

Our parents were like quote my dad "you just HAD to have two of them didn't you Dan?"

I prefer the supercharger on those things more just because they dont redline too high. Theres a guy that has a twin turbo setup with a couple other minor bolt ons and hes pushing almost 500hp and over 500 lb tq lol

And ya Ill post up pics when its all done Ill take one when its getting clear coated just for you guys.

The X-Runner is badass!!! I love being able to take corners faster that 90% of the sports cars out there. And he took one that was test droven? Ouchy, people usually abuse them. But they are very quick for what they are. Im all stock and I can take the v8 mustangs like nothing (the slightly older model, cant beat the new v8's lol)

The graphics didn't run you any extra? I know the keying usually gets a new paint job through the insurance... but one this nice?

lol actually the black isnt bsp, its a deep jet black. and insurance did pay for a new paint job, but my buddy owed me a couple favors so he hooked me up with the graphics and i didnt pay my deductable.

the truck is jet black on top, speedway blue on bottom, 2 silver/ghost chrome stripes with a candy blue brushed aluminum stripe in the middle. and of course transparent black/candy blue painted tail lights

I'm with State Farm also. The wheels look good either painted black or left stock. Are you going to put some underglow LED/neons under the truck? Now that would be awesome.
