ex 35 roof rack cap blew off!

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hey everyone! I am in need of some wisdom. I own a 2010 Ex35 and after a drive one day I looked over to notice that the cap on the front right side of my roof rack had blown off!! As annoying as that is, I had hoped I could go online and simply order another. after searching for a few hours I came up empty handed. most companies want me to have to buy the entire roof rack set up to get the cap which is ridiculous. I was wondering if anyone on here knew of any trusted sites that I could find this roof cap on. Also, I was wondering if the roof racks for the fx35 were the same as those on an ex35 since I was able to find a cap for those. thanks all.

This happened to me, with a Chevrolet Venture, no less. I found one at a wrecker for $10. I would call car dumps for one. But yes, annoying indeed.

lost of annoying things like that with cars... My wife's RX330 lost a plastic piece of molding on the back side window and the only way to get that piece of molding is to buy a whole new window! needless to day, she is missing a piece of window molding still.

Is this the part you're looking for?

I found part number 73830-1BA0C on the Infiniti usa parts website. Google found me the ebay listing, and came up with hits on other parts sites.

Good luck and let us know if everything works out.

Guys, this might be a great project for a 3D printer!
