Evolution 4G63 Engine in a 240sx chasis...

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

I was wondering wat would be needed to do this swap besides the engine & chasis.....i just thought about this swag cause im always hearing about SR20, RB, V8,2JZ or 1JZ swaps into them & this would be a gd idea BUT idk if sum1 has done this already

What tranny would you use.... you'd have to adapt one, or go awd, which no one has done with an rb and u'd think it would be a lot easier.

Actually, it has been done w/ an RB (the AWD thing).

I've seen RWD 4G63s in Starions, so it actually would not be that hard. I would consider this if I was set on using a 4 cylinder.

i know the mitsu mighty max pickup has a rwd maunal trans (might be awd, but just dont use the transfer case) that bolts right up to the older 4g63. i would imagine that the newer ones are similar. but i could be wrong.

go on this site they only deal with rwd 4g63 conversions.and for money it's not that expensive it just time consuming,it will cost the same a an rb25 swap installed

thats a gd site & thanks for the input on it guys.

ive been thinkin about doin that swap kuz im tired of every1 doin the same s*** & the 4g63 is a very gd engine, its been in the market longer then the previous engines ive mention so it aint a bad idea.... well thats my opinion on it lol
