So I'm tooling around an Impreza site, looking for some good information and I stumble across this. Some guy snapped these shots while hosting an Impreza meet.

Wow, Impreza guys impressed by the competition, an Evo. imagine that, people that don't hate on other cars just because it's a different brand. sweet car, though.

I think these guys are out in California. If it were a European or Japanese Evo, wouldnt it be a right hand drive car?

I would think, unless the EVO is available in some European countries that also have LHD like Germany, the Scandanavian countries, etc. That is a sweet a$$ car though.

i dont know much about the evo.. how much HP does it run?

It's 276hp, but I would have to check on the torque rating. The engine is the 4g63, same basic engine as what's in the DSMs that no one here seems to like. Interesting how everyone's gaga over the EVO, but hates DSMs...

Interesting fact about the engines Repo, I was unaware of that. Are they just turning up the boost a bit or sumptin

Here's the breakdown on the new Evo:

that's a lot of torque for the little 4 door.since mitsu's seem to be boostaholics that car will easily be seeing 400HP with a tweak here and a tweak there.

I just heard about a guy in Louisville that went to see about an EVO. He was wanting to trade in his 97 GSX. A dealership here was asking $39,995.00 for it! $10,000 mark-up right now!! He's not getting it. Bah!

The dealership I bought my WRX from has a Nissan shop. They marked up the 350Z. Though, the Nissan dealership that I bought my Altima from sells it for MSRP.

Hm... New Evo, know an owner of a Nissan/Mitsubishi Dealership, tough call, what do I get, the 350Z or the Evo? I think there's a poll in the works here.

I actually entered to win an EVO from Mitsu's site. When filling out the survey I accidentally marked that it was ok to contact me about buying a new car. Next day I got a phone call from one of the local Mitsu dealerships. Must be hard pressed to sell cars, they offer 0 percent interest rates and no payments until 2004 for new Mitsus. I am sure that the EVO is excluded from this deal.Nissan is offering .9 percent rates on car loans now. Anyone else see that?
