evo injectors in a ca18det

anyone done this ?? they are pink top 560cc from an evo 8 and they flow 602cc, flow testing and cleaning done by engine logics in houston tx. will they just pop right in ?

i used 510cc evo injectors must hav been from a earlier model, i had to machine them a lil to fit, otherwise they are fine.

are they high or low IMP? what kind of fitment are they? I suppose I could google the images and info, but Im too lazy

The older DSM 450cc's fit and are low IMP just like our stock injectors.

I'm running EVO injectors. If they are low impedance, top feed, they will work. I'm not sure about the newer evo's, as manufacturers are using some crazy looking parts nowadays.

But yeah, if they look like they fit, they probably will. The flowing more than they are rated would explain a lot though, namely why my car runs like crap.

I had a set of 560's, I sent them to Deatschwerks for cleaning and they flowed 603, 611, 625, 631...too much variance so I sold them as a core and upgraded to 750's. They should fit same as the 450's, but the pintle caps were slightly different than the 450's.

Im with you on that tim, I too am using evo 560's and my car runs like crap also..how your car running with MS. I still am trying to make it AL to see it. Any more news about the tune from the guy in atlanta.
