I feel like I just watched a "Now You Know" episode on Nissan HICAS...I have been owned!

Any way Touge you better prep you camera so this way we have tons of pretty pictures to look at. We need pretty/shiney things here on 240sx.org because if we don't get what we want we break off track and starts typing about HICAS...

I respect the buildI respect the dedication

BUT I'd put my $ on a stock Lotus Exige spanking that car in almost every way possible.

I get the "it's your car and you'll do it like so." but i mean $72k into a nissan?I dunno perhaps i'm just old, but there's so many more better platforms out there to dump $ into. A 911 for example.

In the end I'll follow along to see how it turns out like everyone else.

Good luck with it.

72k is a LOT of money but hey if you got that much money i guess 20k is the limit for me but 72k man i would spend that on a way better car

One the track NO WAY! I've already posted a better then at least one. as for the street....no.My plan wasn't to spend this, I was just going over one thing at a time...ect.Then 4 years later.....BOOM. there it went!!!I love this car!!! it's just as I wanted it to be & I built it myself!!!!!I could have bought an EVO, STI, 350Z, New skyline....hell any skyline.BUT I chose this. I didn't build it for you, I did it for me! I understand what you are saying about the price....BUT, I you really want something...Do IT!You can't take the money with you. Besides I'm looking forward to getting the R32 GTR in november. Tomei 2.8liter & all!!!!

I'm just lucky in life that I get to do this kind of thing. Everyone should do something that they love...atleast once in life!!!!

yes i know about spending $. i've wasted plenty on cars myself. I'm not saying you're wrong for doing it. I'm debating my point for the sake of debating.

Comparing your car that isn't running yet against an exige in only bench racing. I will argue even if the car is indeed faster on the track against an exige, you'll be driving on the sheer limit with white knuckles. The exige will be a more "fun" car as well. Fun in the sense that it has a quicker ratio steering rack. It has a better suspension setup it has a better chassis (stiffer). To build in stock reliablity as well as increase performance is no small task..

I'm a fan of the GTR like any other male in the united states. Again I respect them all, but new EVOs STIs, Exiges (it really is my most favorite car right now) are also a better platform than the R32. You seem to be a person that replaces everything in a car so i'm sure you'd update all the smaller parts that most "tuners" neglect to address.

Again. I'm waiting for updated pix along with everyone else.

MY car is running. it's getting some body work. I neeed the rear panels wider fir the rim/tire combo. I wish you lived in my area so I can show you this car. If you drove it you would want one!!!! The tomei stroker runs $4000-$6000 depending where you go. I started my own business back in 1997 so I can get parts ALOT cheaper!!!! I have yet to do white knuckle driving as of yet, Looking forward to it!!!

O...sorry $2450 for the stroker kit! I think the pistons run $900-$1100 for themselves.

So you paid $1350-$1550 for rods and crank shaft? That doesn't make sence.

Even if you got a bargain the crank should of cost you 50% of the tottal cost.

Where are we on project 240 hottness?

I don't know what to tell you! Tomei sells the pistons $1000 & rods $1100 & crank $2000. Find a better deal then!!!! BUT chances are you aren't going to bay a stroker kit!!!

I was just saying you got the pistons for $1100 - $900 but the whole kit is like 2.4k so I was just saying it doesn't add up. The crank should cost about %50 of the total purchase.

Trust me dude I do not question your hook ups!I am suscribing to this thread so I can ask for parts from you later =)

What does it cost you for a:96+ Toyota Aristo 2JZGTE
