ok, joking aside, try starting out by pressing the gas pedal right when the last amber light comes on. In most cars, this will typically have your car tripping the beam right as the green light comes on. Then, adjust your start on the next run depending on the results you get. If your reaction time is high, press the gas sooner. If you redlight, press the gas later.
As far as making it down the track, there's not much to it with an auto transmission. It's literally just press the gas and go. You can try experimenting on the launch holding the brake while giving a bit of gas to preload the drivetrain. I would refrain from revving too much like this and for too long as it can overheat the transmission fluid and perhaps cause other kinds of damage. And it probably will yield little gain if any.
