Did you take off the plastic brown pieces before you installed them. I left mine on, but my buddy that just installed his insisted on taking them off. I think they are there to reduce noise?

They are for sound deadening purposes. Leave them on.

all it is is noise reducers it wont really make a difference.. i left mine on but thats just me
