I am sorry for the length of this message, but it is really important, and even if you don't read the whole thing, at least skim through it to find out what it is about. Thanks.

If you have an S14, and you have customized it, and have it looking all nice and everything, there is one thing that will still be there. Those dingy, ugly looking factory headlights. Well, I have finally found a set of headlights to replace those old faded dim things in the front of your precious car. They are the OBX JDM Type-R Projection Headlights. Here is the link if you want to take a look. http://www.obxracingsports.com...2ID=2

They don't have a picture of the ones fot the 240, because they don't have them out yet. They will be out in mid-December. If you aren't familiar with OBX, they make many different products. They also have a reputation with a few of their products being a little less than the best out there, but you may not know that they also have many other products that are as good as any other that you will find. Also, you can't buy directly from OBX, but I have lined up a dealer who is willing to give us a group discount if enough interest is shown. Here is a bit of one of the emails he sent me:

As of right now, I do not have a price or pic for the lights. The guide I have has them listed as T.B.A., and it doesn't have a picture of them. I will however sell them cheaper than OBX. They will be available in 4 different types when they do arrive. The choices will be--CHROME/CLEAR---CHROME/BLUE---BLACK/CLEAR---BLACK/BLUE. OBX sells all of their other Japan Type headlights for $349.00, assuming they follow suit, my price will probably be around $329.00. Possibly depending on the quantity of the order, the price maybe cheaper. That is all speculation though.

Please let all your buddy's know about the site, I can save them a lot of money on stuff! If you hadn't read the intro page on the site, I just do this for fun! I actually have a regular job that I work at for 50hrs. a week. So I sell everything cheap just to make an extra few $$'s. I've had other web-site people e-mail me because I sell the items for so cheap. They don't like some of my pricing to say the least. I just love to fool around with tuning cars, another hobby for me. Also if their looking for something that isn't on the site have them e-mail me! I try over the week-end to put up some more items for the 240sx models.

His name is Tom, and he is from TNT Auto Tuning, and the site can be found at http://www.tntautotunerz.com/He can get nearly anything you would want and from all of the top manufacturers, but at a wholesale price. He also is a very nice guy, and has been extremely courteous to me, and very helpful.

Please people, as you read in the email, the more orders for the lights place, the cheaper we can get them. So, if you think you would be interested in these, then just reply, and let me know so I will have an idea of how many sets we are looking at here, so I can tell him, and he will make sure he can get enough for us as soon as they area avalible.

Again, sorry it is so long, but it is something that will be benificial to us all. Bobby

Attn. Daunt: Please put this where everyone will see it. Sticky it, or put it under group buys or something, but it is a good opportunity for us all to benifit here, and get a hot product at a discount here. Thanks.

Hey, I am very proud that you like your lights, but I however, as well as many of the people I have spoken to do not, and want something different without paying ungodly amounts of money to get the Silvia lights. I have a 1995, and I personally think that the overall appearance of my shiney black car would look a whole lot better with some clear with chrome headlights in there than it does with those dingy faded factory one in ther now. That is just my opinion, and you all are entitled to your own also.

Just another option for you S14 guys, not trying to draw away from your post or anything, but the European versions are the same as the 95-96 model but they're glass...

If that OBX company makes the 97' 240sx headlights in clear with black housing, I'll buy them.

Dauntt and projection :) But they are hard as hell to get ahold of and will set you back some serious dough.

Another alternative is goto http://www.usplastic.com and get the 3 stage Novus plastic polish. Take the lights out and put some elbow grease into them with the polish and will take away the yellow for some of your time and like 8$. When It gets yellow again just do the same thing. This time it will only cost your time.

Worked good for me, and that company kicks *** :)

Ssal007, I'll trade you my 95 front end for your 97, so you can install those lights on your car.

Dauntt, those glass euro headlights go for $600 US for the pair

good lookin out bobbymac, but for that price, i think I rather get whiteline sways and/or front pillow mounts.

thanks for the offer though, if the price is under $200, I may change my mind. Pretty unlikely that 1. get the price under $200 2. I'll change my mind

good lookin out all the same

peace

Great stuff - you can buy it at some aquarium stores as well. Does a great job of taking scratches and dullness out of ANY plastic parts. You can use it on your gauge lens - hell, do all your exterior lenses, they'll look kick-a$$!

This doesn't seem to be the earth shattering message I thought it would be. People have been swapping out headlights for a long time for the JDM versions....

Ninja true at first I thought it was having to deal with the s14 wiring harness sitting right on a bolt in the head. That, over time eats throught the harness and likes to take out the ignition primary out, causing some massive headaches (if you are a diy guy) and 30 amp fusable links to blow at 2$ a peice. Seems like Ive had this problem no hehe.

But that novus is great hehe. The pressure gauge on my pool pump was white and unreadable. 2 mins with stage 3 and it was crystal clear. I use it on anything I can find.
