Guys, it's not very smart of us to be posting threads about how easy or hard it is to steal componentry off of our cars. As well as how easy or hard it is to steal a 240. These forums are open to all, both the good and bad element and with the ever growing popularity of the 240SX lets not make ourselves targets.

Hey i hope I dont make you mad for saying this but if this has to do with the post about tail lights, I dont believe there was info on how to steal them. Just if it was easy or not. The guy has a reasonable question that he brought to us to help him to decide whether or not he was going to get them. I dont see anything wrong with this. But just my 2 cents.

-Like I said I hope this doesnt make you mad

There was another post on here awhile ago though that discussed how easy it was to steal a 240... Mostly precautionary stuff. The guy had locked his keys in his car and 3 guys got him into the car.... He was just saying how it can be done and if there was anyway of preventing it... Still not a good idea to post stuff like that though. Hope the thread gets removed or something...

if someone wants to steal a car they will get it no matter what. Most car thieves dont go reading on car forums asking how to steal these things.

No but what good does it do to have threads with how people have gotten into their cars and how easy it is, yada yada. Last thing you want is another car thief out there because they read it was easy to get into their friend's 240.

I'm not mad at anyone, just there are better topics out there like how to prevent your 240 from getting stolen. Not discussing how easy it is.

It is a flaw inherent in windows with a frameless door design. My brother's integra has been stolen more than once, surprise the window wasn't broken. There is the possibilty that enthusiasts of this car see a 'how to steel a 240' thread and want one so bad they follow the advice, not likely but a possibility. Those people should be forced to eat a bucket of horse poo.

Speaking about stolen radios! A co-worker of mine found a guy ripping of his stereo yesterday morning. Guy was still in the car and had the radio out in his hand. My oh so innocent co-worker didn't call the cops (as I would do) or beat the guy to a pulp (as many would do), but talked to the guy. He ended up feeling sorry for him and gave him $10. Can you belive that BS??!!! I was just dumbfounded when he told me he paid the guy to steal his radio. Atlease he made him give back the high dollar '80s tape deck.

if you wanted to steal a radio its not hard to figure out considering all the information on the web about radio removal for installing new head units. i dont think reading my post will make you want to go out and steal a radio and even if they did, it wouldnt really defeat the purpose of this thread because all cars have radios not just 240s so it really wouldnt increase theft rates of 240s at all. i also misread what he posted i thought he said that the guy gave back an actual 80s tape not tape deck.

to tell you the truth i didnt even kno this was a problem on NICO so this thread has actually drawn more attention to the subject pretty much removing the whole purpose of the thread. it would have been better to send emails to the people who are posting stuff like that asking for them to delete the post or simply delete it if you are a mod, i will delete my post tho even tho i dont think it caused any harm.
