Sweet!! If you don't mind, how much did the tire/wheel combo cost you??
And thank you for bringing the KA back to life, you won't regreted, the SOHC is a powerhorse and cheap to maintain.
I was always iffy on Sportmax rims. I always looked at them as like "second hand quality" like cheap imatation. so I felt like I was taking a risk getting these, but the price sealed the deal, I paid about 100 per rim plus shipping, so my total was about 480 for the rims. I got from a shop in cali who had them listed on Ebay. These guys were top notch, gave me great serivce and super fast shipping, (took less then a week to get here) Needless to say I was surprised by the qaulity of these rims when they arivved, they felt very solid but very very light. I decided to go with Fuzion Zri's 225/50/r16 which set me back at 360 for them mounted and balanced so not bad. so total I spent about 840 for the whole set-up. These rims really grew on me very fast. there very agressive, the stance is perfect, and its hard for the pictures to do it justice. Now to the KA, I know alot of people knock on the SOHC, but I must say once spending some good time rebuilding it and working on it (driving it ) I admire the simplicity of the design and it is very spunky, it has more then enough power, I was amazed. I think for those pignose owners, don't be so quick to discard your SOHC sleeper. Like amolao said its very cheap to maintain not to mention very simple to work on. plus a turbo setup would not only be a cheap way for some decent power but you would have a very potent daily driver or track warrior. well I have to get back to class but I will be on later to give more of my "review"
