I just got the grounding kit hooked on this weekend. this is probably the best mod for throttle response and easier shifting. The car feels much smoother overall. My friend sitting in the rear could feel the difference as well. The audio got louder, and shifting has improved 100%. Everyone should get this mod. I have a AT, and all the AT'S and MT'S should get this.

got any pics of your install? i posted my pics in Sentientbydesign's Thread... i will post some here when i get off work too.

i had the same results... way better shifting, throttle response, clearer radio, and VDC kicks in later and goes away quicker...

I helped him install that too

Vivek,

Thanks for the review. I thought it was funny that your friend could tell the difference from the passenger seat.

The next install I do on a 5AT I'm going to insist I get a before and after test drive.

I know what it's done for my 6mt, but I'm SUPER curious what the difference is on the 5at.

Need a reason to come to Reno Nate? I could go for a set of blue wires to replace my Stillen kit. I could be talked into disconnecting my grounding kit for the sake of R&D. For a "fee" or discount.......depending on how you look at it.

Hahaha. The wife is not working, we're expecting and I've got a pre-planned trip to Hawaii next month. I'm not sure that I can make a trip to Reno any time soon.

Sorry bro.

I honestly can't see why Stillen still sells that junk. Nobody sees any gains and they aren't that attractive

I might be parting ways with my charcoal wires. I think I'm going to put blue under the hood. They looked sooo good on 4drmadness' sedan. Then again, he has a midnight blue sedan.

Hey Sentient, I did remove my wires this weekend to do some testing before going to the track, I took off my ebay wires and after one test drive, I was assured they are helping, however insignifigantly.

I will need to order one of these kits from you soon, because the effects are so obvious, I can only expect better gains with the oversize wires, and proper grounding instructions... Send me a pm when you get a chance.

Hey Nate if you go to hawaii you got to do the skydive. Is the best rush you will ever get. Jump at 14k feets ok not 9k feet. By the way can you shoot me email an instruction for overkill kit? I still have 2 wires left to install and the instruction that i got doesn't say where the 2 wires go onto.

I think the wife might get mad at me. She's pregnant and can't do half of the activities out there. Skydiving is on her list of things to do, but will have to wait until after the baby is born

I'll send you the instructions in a few. Did you get the transmission wire on ok?

I have 5AT coupe and decided to get a set of over kill from Nate. Man after test drive with ground wire hook up i feel car run smoother and less idle noise. Also my rear speakers doesn't make rattle noise anymore.

Nate, I think I might just need to order the Overkill kit from you! Everytime I look under my hood I see that POS Stillen kit so small next to your wires. Lemme know how much for the overkill in blue, 5AT, 2005 coupe.
