Everyday Driver question

I drive my SR20det powered 240sx everyday to and from work. I get on it a little bit, but not too crazy, only sometimes on weekends for the races.

I put all my time and effort into this SR (my 2nd one) since I got it. I have made sure to set the car in timing mode, and I checked TPS voltage, IDLE and Timing, which I still think Is wrong, but car seems to be more stable since I redid it.

Well my question is, if I begin to raise boost on the engine with the HKS actuator kit to about 12, would I be looking at any longterm problems? The engine has low mileage on it about 50 K. I just want to make sure that I am not stressing it more than I should on a daily basis. I use only top of the line products for my car as well, just wondering anyone else's opinion/experiences.

every increase in PSI wil shorten the life of your stock turbo. Not to mention Faster oil breakdown, clutch and tire wear.

Generaly the sr20 on stock ecu and tuning will have very close afrs at 12 to 15psi. There is really no pentaly aside from the above wear factors in turning the boost up as far as that poor t25 can go.

By the way, any news on that ecu?

well I got ahold of the kid that sold it to me, and he says there is nothing wrong with it. Then I told him what happened to my engine, and he was like, improper tuning. I got all pissed off and hung up the phone on him.

What would you like me to do?

good question I have no idea. Its ok i dont mind the hijacking. You can talk to me whenever u wish, I just want to let you know that I didnt sell you that ecu because I thought it was bad. I just had 2 of them and for the 200 bucks I thought it would be better if I sent you the upgraded one.
