Ok, does anyone have a good PN for a pcv valve for s1 rb25det? I have tried two, and when I do a boost leak test, I still get some leakage into the valve covers. I just tried two different ones that look like they would fit, which they did, but they stilll leaked air through, and yes they are installed correctly. Am I missing something?!?!?

Heres a good idea, get rid of it!

Thats the easiest way to solve that problem.

Run a hose from the right bank valve cover into the oil separator then to the intake and get rid of the PCV and block it off on the intake manifold.

Jegs has a badass oil separator. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/52205/10002/-1

That things pretty cool. Only drawback is being able to see the loogies that collect in it

Also, what happens when the thing fills above the bottom of the plastic piece? Does it have a vent at the top that would still allow it to function without acting like it was plugged and pressurizing the crankcase?

Guys, I had one of those on my air compressor. I got it at harbor freight I think.

ok, but is it ok to not have any vacuum on the pcv system? I understood the positive in pcv to be that it actually "sucked" out the gasses in the crankcase via vacuum. will it be ok without the vacuum?

That is why you hook the other port on the catch tank to the intake ahead of the turbo. Pulls vacuum and you get an oil separator inline too.

The pics aren't up anymore.

ARe you saying (RB25):

pcv -> catch can -> intake port where valve cover hose normally goes to? Then block off the intake manifold port? What about the valve cover hose?

I wanted to have the pcv system filtered as well as the valve covers hose (that goes into the intake) filtered. How would I do that without having 2 catch cans?

S1 and S2 the same? Are you sure those are the part numbers? If so, I'll be buying one tomorrow!
