Apparently our Versa that we "ordered" on October 14 is now in the process of being built. The estimated delivery time is late January early February. No Versa for Christmas for us I guess??

I have almost exactly the same story - we ordered in mid November, expected delivery mid December, but have now been told it's a "work in progress". At any rate, the time frames they're telling us seem to be consistant for Versas coming to Canada.

I asked my dealer to find out if there were any others available and he managed to find one in another colour that is already being shipped to Vancouver. Hoping for get it before Christmas.

You might want to see if any unclaimed Versa's are heading up to dealerships in Edmonton. My dealer didn't volunteer this info - I had to ask for my deposit back!

Go Oilers! (I'm a former Edmontonian myself)

Actually, we ordered in mid October, just like you. Not sure why I typed November.

Wow, you guys are really getting the short end of the stick. Mine was ordered just a few days before you, but mine should get here some time next week. I wonder if Nissan's slowing production on the Canadian V's to catch up with US orders.

Don't you have a vin? Are they building the car around the vin? I'm thinking that by the time my V gets to Edmonton I'm not going to need to worry about putting snow tires on it.

Have you tried getting a loaner car from dealership? I'm curious if that's do-able.
