Relative to performance driving (track days / driver training...)

What data is stored (i.e. # redlines, # abs interventions, # times speed above X...).What data is soft codedWhat data is hard codedWhat is data is stored for a limited amount of timingWhat amount of time is it stored for

Other issues of interest?

And to digress for a moment, is it not a thing of beauty that an AWD four door sedan has the performance of super cars just a couple years back. Simply beautiful car.
